Google Ads Credit for Small Businesses During COVID-19
Small businesses account for around 90% of all businesses and over 50% of employment worldwide. Google is doing its best to help small and medium-sized businesses (otherwise known as SMBs) stay in touch with their customers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
A big part of Google’s plan for SMBs is to donate $340 million in Google Ads credit, which can be used toward future ad spend, until the end of 2020 across all Google Ads platforms.
Google Ads for Small Business
Active SMBs around the world are eligible for these ad credits. To be deemed active, you will have needed to spend money with a Google Ads account in ten out of twelve months of 2019, and in January and/or February of 2020. The ad credits will roll out in phases, the first of which begins in May 2020.
Each customer will receive one ad credit. The ad credit value will vary primarily based on your past Google Ads spend.
