Ener-Tex International – A New Website for a Used Equipment Dealer
Family owned and operated for over 30 years, Ener-Tex International is devoted to meeting the equipment needs of the drilling industry. In January 2018, PointA was approached by Ener-Tex International Sales and Marketing Manager Adam Rauch.
A member of the third generation of the Ener-Tex International founding family, Adam recognized that the company needed to update its online presence and engage with a partner to build a new website.
SEO, Inventory and Translation
Located in Houston, Ener-Tex International specializes in selling and renting, recertifying, repairing, buying and sourcing drilling equipment both nationally and internationally – but their outdated website wasn’t helping them meet their objectives.
In conversations with Adam and the Ener-Tex International team, we determined that there were four key issues with their existing website that needed to be addressed in the redesign:
- Inventory, which was uploaded to the website via PDF, was not SEO-friendly.
- SEO basics were lacking.
- The website was not mobile-friendly or editable.
- The website could not be translated via Google even though 80 percent of Ener-Tex International’s revenue is international in origin.

- Search engine optimizations, including allowing the website to be indexed and searchable.
- Google Translate compatibility.
- Spanish language CTAs.
- Custom-built inventory section.
Ener-Tex International’s new website is now mobile- and translation-friendly, SEO-optimized, editable by the Ener-Tex International team, and provides a searchable product inventory that’s beneficial to potential customers as well as to the Ener-Tex International sales team.
PointA began this project in February 2018 and delivered and launched the new site in just over two months, on April 8th, 2018.
